Adelbrook offers a variety of professional services to help children and young adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and psychiatric disorders. Services range from preschool to independent living, and include professional therapy and education. Each caregiver at Adelbrook has a unique and challenging job: to be hands on with children and young adults at all times plus keep records of everything that happens with a client during the day. To help staff focus more on their patients and less on filling out paper forms, SMC is helping Adelbrook implement an electronic health records system.
SMC guided Adelbrook through the RFP process to select an EHR vendor that would meet the needs of the organization and staff. SMC is now managing the project, working closely with our client and the vendor. We are helping Adelbrook document business and clinical requirements and make sure all requirements are met and the system is fully tested before go live. We are proud to be helping Adelbrook implement the tools needed to enable staff to keep their focus on exceptional patient care.
