Andrew Elash joined SMC after five years working in the Connecticut General Assembly, during which time he managed multiple state legislative election campaigns. He most recently served as legislative aide to state Senator Mae Flexer, 29th District. Previously he worked as legislative coordinator for Sullivan & LeShane, Inc., a Hartford lobbying firm. Andrew graduated from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, and resides in Hartford.
Brent Peiffer has joined SMC as a Business Analyst. He lives in Fairfield, CT and graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science. He enjoys competitive sailing and running.
Julian Cook recently joined us as a Technical Analyst. He is a self-taught programmer who started by making video games at the age of 13. Since then, he has had a fascination with programming and technology. Julian worked as a waiter for the Marco Polo restaurant in East Hartford for 5 years until they closed their doors. While working at Marco, he took various online courses on web development and various frameworks that have helped him grow as a developer.
Sarah Geller joins SMC as a Business Analyst. She graduated from Lafayette College with honors in Anthropology/ Sociology and a minor in Economics. While in college, Sarah was in a women’s a cappella group, ran a college preparation course at a local high school, and was a member of the sorority Alpha Gamma Delta. She is originally from Madison, CT but has recently relocated to West Hartford. She most enjoys spending time with friends and family.
For the second year in a row, we participated in Donation Creation for the Chrysalis Center. The project collects food for the Center’s food pantry FreshPlace. Our great staff collected $883 for the purchase of the right color cans to create our butterfly! Our creation team, led by Julia Moore, bought and constructed the creation. It was a lot of fun and a great way to support the Chrysalis Center.
